What I do at Healthhaus and how I can help you
I’m on housekeeping duties at Healthhaus, which involves keeping all the equipment clean, sanitised and tidy after all classes and exercise sessions.
What I love about working here
I enjoy welcoming members to the club and seeing how they enjoy their experience. I’ve always had a passion for sport and fitness, so I love seeing you progress on your fitness journey. So if you see me around don’t hesitate to say hi!
My passions outside of work
When I was younger my main passion was gymnastics – I’ve represented Great Britain at multiple World and European Games, and in 2012 I was selected to carry the Olympic Torch in Jersey in recognition of my achievements in Special Gymnastics. It was one of my proudest moments.
I retired from competing back in 2018 and now my main passion is running. I participate in the weekly Parkrun in Jersey but I have also undertaken various Parkruns across the UK.
More recently I have completed a half marathon and my aim is eventually to complete a full marathon. There’s a way to go still but I’ll get there.
