As long as the medical condition / injury is under control and you have consent from your GP/Health practitioner that they are happy for you to exercise, we can tailor an exercise programme to suit your needs.
We are happy for your GP/Health practitioner to liaise with us if they have any considerations / contraindications that we need to bear in mind.
If you have a chronic medical condition or need to continue your rehab journey following an injury or operation, then one of our exercise referral classes may be a better place to start.

We will book your Milon induction as soon as possible after you join. Your Milon Induction is your introduction to our Milon Circuit and where you'll get up and running on your fitness journey. You'll be introduced to one of our Milon Experts who will take you around the Milon Circuit, making sure you're set up correctly on each piece of equipment and that you understand how to use every machine. Your settings will be stored on your membership card so that next time you come in the machines will automatically adjust to your personalised settings.

In unavoidable circumstances e.g. for medical reasons, redundancy or temporary relocation outside of Jersey, membership can be frozen for up to a maximum of 6 calendar months free of charge. You will need to provide professional evidence of your change in circumstance.
You can voluntarily suspend an annual membership for a period of 1 month per membership year, for example if you are going travelling. You will be charged an administration fee.

You can cancel your membership as long as you do not owe any money.
If you wish to cancel mid-contract you will need to pay an early cancellation fee, unless your circumstances have changed (you are relocating away from Jersey, you have a permanent illness or injury, you have been made redundant) or you believe that we have breached our contract. You will need to provide professional evidence of your change in circumstance.

Anybody over the age of 18 is welcome to have Personal Training at Healthhaus.
Membership is not necessary, though Healthhaus members benefit from member discounts.
Sessions take place in our dedicated Personal Training Suite.
Our Personal Trainers can help with wellbeing, strength and weight loss goals. In addition they all have specialist areas including pre and post natal, strength and conditioning, diabetes and obesity and exercise referral.

Personal Training starts at around £30 per session. The cost varies depending on the length of your session, the number of sessions you purchase and the experience of your Personal Trainer.
Personal Training is available 06:00-21:30 Monday-Friday and 07:00-17:00 Saturday and Sunday, depending on our Trainers’ availability.
Yes! The Milon Circle has been tried and tested by leading research institutes for all walks of life and is proven to be up to 15 times more effective than using traditional training equipment.
It is recommended that you train once every 4-5 days to gain maximum benefits. The unique eccentric challenge will ensure that you see results quicker than with traditional training systems.
Your rest and recovery time is as important as the training time.
You will feel the ‘Milon effect’ very quickly. Within 4 weeks you should notice that you feel more energetic and you may be sleeping better. Within 2 - 4 months you’ll start to notice other changes such as improved muscle tone and increased strength. If you’re training to lose weight and are eating healthily then you’ll notice your clothes fitting better too!
Of course all of this depends on you working as hard as you are able during each session and being consistent with your visits.
If you're used to training more regularly, then including Milon in your programme can give you faster results. Our Milon Coaches can help you schedule your Milon training around your normal workouts for maximum effectiveness.
If you have health concerns, we recommend that you talk to your doctor in advance. However, working out with Milon equipment is generally safe, thanks to the electronic control. Your trainer can adjust the equipment, range of movement and resistance for you accordingly.
We offer Milon Medical Referral classes for anyone who needs more support.
Yes, the Milon Suite is manned by our fitness team throughout the day.
You will start your Milon journey with an induction (You will choose a date for your Milon induction during your Club tour.) One of our Milon Coaches will take you around the first Milon Circuit, making sure you're set up correctly on each piece of equipment and that you understand how to use every machine. Your settings will be stored in your membership card so that next time you come in the machines will automatically adjust to your personalised settings.
Every 12 sessions you’ll switch circles to ensure that you don’t plateau. At each switch you’ll have a 1:1 with one of our Coaches who will review your goals and teach you the new training protocol.
In between these sessions our team are there to adjust your technique and to ensure that you're working at the correct level, so that you get the maximum benefit from each session.
We have a wide range of equipment that can be used to complement your Milon training.
We are very fortunate to have 2 strength and cardio circuits. Milon Circle 1 only takes 35 minutes, while Circle 2 takes 42 minutes, as there are 2 additional resistance machines.
Wear comfortable exercise clothing or normal clothing that won’t restrict your movement. Please avoid zips and denim. Light or wicking fabrics are best to keep you cool.
We advise wearing trainers, but any supportive enclosed, flat shoe will be fine. In the Movement Studio socks are required.
A sweat towel is mandatory and you’ll need your water bottle.
We sell refillable water bottles and a selection of Ronhill clothing in the Club. You can also rent a sweat towel, so you're covered if you forget anything!
Inductions for each change of Circle must be booked in advance, which can be easily done using the Healthhaus app.
We highly recommend that you book your other Milon sessions using our app too because making appointments to exercise has been proven to help with consistency. (It’s not compulsory though!)
Our Milon Coaches have access to all of your training data and will review your progress every 3 sessions. They will advise you when to increase your weights if you need help with this.
Your training record is stored in the MilonME app which you can download on your phone. The Milon ME app shows your progress and studio ranking in comparison with members of the same age and can be linked to wearables (Polar, Garmin). If you don’t have a smartphone you can access your training record through the Milon Care website.
Once you have completed 5 sessions the Milon Coach will show you how to download and use the app.
Pilates Equipment studios provide a safe and effective environment to assist with the development of body control and awareness. The equipment also provides support, facilitates movement and at the same time challenges your workout.
The Gyrotonic method is an original and unique movement method that addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion and creating functional strength.
Gyrotonic exercise sequences are composed of spiraling, circular movements which flow together seamlessly in rhythmic repetitions with corresponding breath patterns. Each movement flows into the next allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression.
Gyrotonic equipment supports these natural movement patterns.
Everyone aged 16 or over is welcome to have Equipment Pilates and Gyrotonic® sessions. It is not necessary to be a member.
16 & 17 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. (Why not exercise together!)

The Pilates repertoire is split into two sub-sections: ‘Equipment Based’ and ‘The Matwork’, they are complementary to each other.
‘The Matwork’ is mostly done on exercise mats on the floor. Resistance is provided by body weight. Sometimes small equipment, such as bands and balls are used.
‘Equipment Based’ apparatus provides support while performing the repertoire. It can be used to make the exercises easier or more challenging and it provides endless variation so you'll never get bored!

Ayush Wellness Spa beauty treatments and Ayurvedic therapies are run by the Hotel de France, so are not included in your Healthhaus membership.
To book a treatment please phone the Ayush Wellness Spa Reception (tel. 01534 614171).
After 6pm, Ayush Spa is an adults-only area for the comfort and enjoyment of hotel guests and Healthhaus members. Guest Spa passes are available to book at £30 (16yrs and above) per adult and £20 per child (0-15yrs) from Monday to Friday only, excluding Bank holidays. Advance booking required. This permits guests up to 4 hours in the spa and pool facilities.
You are welcome to buy a guest pass directly with the Hotel de France if you would like to treat your child to some quiet chill out time.

If you've never used our facilities before, our reception team will set up a profile for you on our MindBody system and then take your payment for either a single class or a Class Bundle. You will be given instructions on how to download and set up the Healthhaus app. Once in the app, you will be able to see the class timetable, view your class credits in the 'Passes' tab and make class bookings. You can also add and remove yourself to class waiting lists. (Please note that booking windows and cancellation windows apply)
If you prefer to pay for each class as you go, the price is £10 for members and £15 for non-members. The class must be paid for before attending. Single class credits have a one month expiry date.
No. All classes must be paid for at the time of booking.
Class Bundles are blocks of class credits discounted at 5% (6 classes) and 10% (12 classes). These are available to buy from 1 July 2026 for Members and Non-Members. All Class Bundles have an expiry date. Class Bundles must be bought and paid for in advance before you can book classes online.
From 1 July 2026, members and non-members will be able to book via the Healthhaus app two weeks in advance.
The booking system is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The online class booking window closes 60 minutes before the start time. After this time classes can be booked at reception.
Yes. You can be booked on one class and on the waiting list for up to two other classes. Please ensure you manage your class bookings and waitlist bookings proactively through the Healthhaus app.
The waitlist window locks two hours before the class start time.
Yes. If you are already in the club and wish to join a class, this is possible right up to the class start time. Please speak to reception to book and pay for your class. Please note: The 10 minutes before a class starts are likely to be busy at reception so please use the app for bookings at least 60 minutes in advance where possible.
If you don't turn up to a pre-booked and paid class, you will be charged.
We require 24 hours notice. If you cancel after this time you will be charged for the class. Please use the Healthhaus app to manage your class bookings and waiting lists. If you know you can't attend a class, please cancel your booking or remove yourself from the waiting list as early as possible to allow others to join.
The number of classes remaining is shown in the 'passes' tab of your profile in the Healthhaus app. If you are subscribed to account management updates should also receive a reminder email that you are about to run out of classes.
Yes. All Class Bundles have expiry dates. Single class credits = 1 month. Class Bundle of 6 class credits = 3 months. Class Bundle of 12 credits = 6 months.
The expiry date is shown in the 'passes' tab of your profile in the Healthhaus app. If you are subscribed to account management updates you will also receive a reminder email advising that your class bundle is about to expire.
No transfer or gifting of Class Bundles is allowed. These are for your personal use only.
Generally, beginners' classes suit anyone who has little or no previous experience. These are also ideal if you are recovering from illness or injury.
Intermediate classes suit anyone who with a good, solid grounding in the techniques required.
Advanced classes are for those who are fully experienced and want to be pushed. These classes are not suitable if you are injured or recovering from illness or injury.
If you're in any doubt as to the 'best fit', ask at Reception for guidance.
Introductory Clinics are available free of charge to any Healthhaus member who is looking for an introduction to different types of training or wanting to brush up on their technique.

La Terasse restaurant is situated in Hotel de France on the floor above Healthhaus. Food and drinks are served all day. (Plus, there is also a large al fresco eating area with fantastic views over St Helier.)
Hot drinks and snacks can also be purchased from the Hotel reception.
Please show your membership card when you order food and drink to receive a 10% discount.
There are bicycle racks outside the main entrance of the hotel and on the ground floor of the multi storey car park (Signposted Lido Medical Centre). The latter is under cover.
Parking is available on the first floor of the multi storey car park, which is signposted 'Hotel Overflow' as you drive up the hill. Parking is only available whilst using Healthhaus facilities.
Disabled parking is available outside the front entrance of the Hotel. Please make sure you have your blue badge clearly displayed.
Additional paid parking is available underneath Westview apartments - access is from the Hotel de France main entrance and drop-off point.
