Your member experience at Healthhaus by Kenny

Life at Healthhaus is never dull

I think it’s fair to say my role at Healthhaus is an extremely varied one. Whether I’m working on improving the members’ experience, leading one of my classes or Milon sessions , coaching a member with one-to-one personal fitness or nutritional coaching and even – as one member can testify – doing a good impersonation of Dr Who by taking a console off the Milon Tower and sorting through the wires and lights at 6:00am (I didn’t need a sonic screwdriver); it’s fair to say my life at Healthhaus is never dull.

Such a diverse role certainly has its’ challenges though these are rewarding challenges. The reason they’re rewarding is because each challenge impacts on the experience every member has at Healthhaus. If the challenge can be met and resolved, if the obstacle can be removed then the member experience improves. Our vision, our ethos, is for Healthhaus to improve, in some way, each and every day. As Member Experience Adviser for Healthhaus I’m determined to ensure that happens.

My non-fitness industry background has certainly helped; I’m a qualified accountant and spent several years in the private equity funds industry at senior manager and director level. From that I know it’s important to have processes in place such that the service given is as good as it can be. For me, it’s a great and interesting opportunity to apply that philosophy with Healthhaus and, in my role as product development manager with Hotel de France, to see it in action in the hospitality industry.

Five Key Elements

Welcoming – this goes beyond your greeting by the Healthhaus staff and extends to the non-intimidating, comfortable home-from-home environment we’ve purposefully created.

Authentic – all of the staff are authentic in listening to, and offering support and advice to all our members.

Supportive – our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds, ages and fitness levels. We appreciate and acknowledge this, leading to bespoke training for each and every member.

Knowledgeable – as well as meeting certain key prerequisite training qualifications all of the personal coaches bring a distinctive skill-set into Healthhaus. As a team, the knowledge base is vast and growing daily.

Connecting – we really work hard to know and understand our members, to see them as people each with their unique motivational style and goals and can respond in kind. We’re passionate about what we do, what Healthhaus has to offer and in building a sense of community with our members.

Combined, these elements constitute the characteristics that set Healthhaus apart. They are priceless and every member of staff strives towards achieving these for our members and for each other as a team. It is our intention that you feel this each and every time you visit Healthhaus.
